Tuition is due monthly in advance on the first lesson of the month. During the regular public school calendar, a weekly lesson time is reserved, except for school holidays. If a student must miss a lesson due to a family or business trip, as noted below under Make-up Lessons, the lesson will be rescheduled for some time during that semester. No lessons will be rescheduled after the end of the semester.
Unfortunately, tuition for missed lessons cannot be refunded. I would appreciate a phone call if the student must miss a lesson at the last minute, even though these last minute cancellations can not be made up.
It is the responsibility of the student to continue lessons through the entire Fall or Spring semester.
1. the teacher misses a lesson
2. adverse weather days
3. death in the family
with a minimum of two weeks notice.
4. participation in religious services
5. participation or attendance at a musical performance
6. family or business related obligations or holidays
A one month notice is required if the teacher or the student needs to discontinue lessons. Students are financially responsible to continue lessons through the current semester. A one month notice allows us to wrap up loose ends and evaluate our time together.
