Studio curriculum is tailored for opportunities in the Ann Arbor area. This includes working toward various auditions, performances and competitions, depending on the abilities and interest of the student.
Five Skill Areas included in the Michigan Music Teacher's Association statewide Student Achievement Testing Program assure a well rounded approach to piano playing. All five aspects and more are covered in private and group lessons, specifically presented for the individual student.

Duet playing is a regular feature of private and group lessons. Ensemble playing fosters rhythmic continuity while developing sight reading and listening skills.
Performance Etiquette as well as audience etiquette is covered in private and group lessons. Stage manners are an important part of piano performance. Active listening is developed by providing specific listening goals.
Music History is taught when the student begins to play the easiest standard piano repertoire. Composers and pieces are placed in historical context when presented in Group Lessons.
