Beethoven Sonata Cycle continues

The famous and great pianist Andras Schiff plays  4 Beethoven Sonata Recitals at Rackham and Hill Auditoriums this season.  The Schiff Beethoven Recitals link also has links to his 2004 lecture recitals given in England, where each sonata is addressed individually, available to hear in an MP3 file.

The School of Music is also presenting a Beethoven Sonata Cycle, in tandem with Schiff's recitals. These lecture recitals cover the same sonatas Schiff will play at Hill, also in chronological order (almost), and are presented before Schiff's arrival in Ann Arbor to help prepare us for Schiff's performances.
